Press Release Body = San Jose, Calif., June 11, 2007 -- Codenomicon Ltd., a leading provider of state-of-the-art software security testing solutions, will exhibit and demonstrate its DEFENSICS state-of-the-art security testing solutions at Infosecurity Canada 2007 Conference & Expo.

NEW PRODUCT UPDATE: Codenomicon will feature and demonstrate its new 802.11 AP Test Suite, a security assessment test tool for analyzing the security and robustness of WLAN protocol implementations at this event.
The WLAN test tool uses the Codenomicon robustness testing methodology to locate flaws in critical Internet infrastructure. The test materials are capable of finding and identifying various different kinds of flaws with varying levels of severity. This is accomplished by feeding the tested implementation with various carefully crafted malformed WLAN protocol messages.
Robustness shortcomings in WLAN services result in undesirable network downtime and denial-of-service conditions. Entire networks may be rendered inaccessible to their customers. Therefore knowledge about the level of security in components that may be exposed to external intrusion attempts is absolutely crucial. This information is invaluable in mitigating threats and performing informed risk analysis. To guarantee the continuous and error-free operation of the current and future Internet, the dependability of WLAN protocol implementations must be verified.
At the show, ask to speak with Juha Korju, Security Engineer, for more details.
